Here comes a power couple who sings, produces and acts together perfectly. CNBLUE’s singer and guitarist Lee Jonghyun paired up with singer-song-writer Juniel and dropped a cute song called Love Falls. Love Falls is a happy duet about falling in love during winter. The song is the title track of the two artists‘ label FNC Entertainment’s seasonal album Romantic J from 2013. Juniel wrote the lyrics and Lee Jonghyun composed the melody for Love Falls.
In the MV for Love Falls both act as high school students who fall in love. Both have been flirting around for some time and decide to confess for Christmas. But just “Like main characters of a drama” (“드라마 속 주인공처럼”) that part doesn’t go so well. As the first snow falls – you see this is always a topic, see Kanto or EXO – however, they both realize they should give each other a chance: “Snow falls, love falls, it falls whitely, Like a Christmas gift” (“눈이 와 사랑이 와 하얗게 내려와, 크리스마스 선물처럼“). They meet in front of a meaningful place for both of them – a carousel – and share a kiss on the forehead.
Apart from the original MV which has a plot, there is also a shorter version featuring Juniel and Lee Jonghyun again wearing school uniforms, performing Love Falls in the school’s music room.

Aber genau „Wie die Hauptdarsteller in einem Drama“ (“드라마 속 주인공처럼”) läuft dieser Teil nicht so gut. Als dann der erste Schnee des Jahres fällt – dieses Motiv ist einfach immer wieder zu finden, s.a. Kanto oder EXO – stellen beide fest, dass sie einander noch eine Chance geben sollen: „Der Schnee fällt, Liebe fällt, es fällt in Weiß, wie ein Weihnachtsgeschenk“ (“눈이 와 사랑이 와 하얗게 내려와, 크리스마스 선물처럼“). Das Paar trifft sich an einem für sie wichtigen Ort – einem Karussell – wieder und besiegelt seine Gefühle mit einem Kuss auf die Stirn.
Zusätzlich zu dem eigentlich MV, das eine Geschichte aufweist, gibt es noch eine Kurzversion. Indem tragen Juniel und Lee Jonghyun wieder ihre Schuluniform und singen Love Falls in dem Musikzimmer der Schule.
