Day 17, You Can Cry by BtoB

It’s BtoB again. We already had on Day 5, The Winter’s Tale as a track of their Christmas album 2014. Both songs were released as kind of couple track which is clearer if you know the Korean titles. The original Korean title of Winter’s Tale can be translated into “don’t cry” which matches to You Can Cry . As said before, especially young idols have to keep up their cute image once in a while. Even though You Can Cry is less cheesy than Winter’s Tale it still has an innocent, nice guy image (for which I guess I’m getting to old). Day 8, Christmas Song by Cube Artist

Once again we find an artist collaboration in this calendar: it’s Cube Entertainment with their holiday track Christmas Song. The in-house idol bands 4minute, B2ST, A Pink, BtoB, solists G.NA, Huh Gak, Roh Ji-Hoon, Shin Ji-Hoon and comedian Kim Ki-Ri participated in this song and the accompanying music video. 2013 must have been a busy year as the Cube artists don’t really interact with each other – in contrast to This Christmas by JYP Nation. Christmas Song‘s takes are all shot separately (except for G.Na and Roh Ji-Hoon) and later combined together to what looks like an interactive music video. The illusion works and if not it wouldn’t minor the festive mood anyway. Continue reading

Day 5, The Winter’s Tale by BtoB

How could life be, living in a snow globe? Well, I guess it’s a happy and cheesy life concluding BtoB‘s Christmas track The Winter’s Tale. This song is really everything you can image a Christmas pop song being like: innocent, bright, simple and commercial. However, you have to keep in mind that BtoB is still a very recent and young boy group, whose audience or target group is a teenage audience. I honestly have troubles
